Starting your Erasmus+ journey

Erasmus+ supports UK organisations and their pupils, students, staff and young people to connect, collaborate, grow and prosper through a range of international opportunities.

The programme enriches the outlook, employability and progression prospects of those who take part, and helps to modernise education, training, youth work and sport across Europe. Funding is open to organisations across all sectors of lifelong learning, including school education, vocational education and training, higher education, adult education and the youth sector.

What people say about Erasmus+

Take a look at the impact Erasmus+ has had on organisations and participants:

Erasmus+ has changed the lives of staff and students alike in our school... They all came home reinvigorated, with new ideas that have helped to shape an exciting future at our school.

Philip Robertson, St. John's Secondary School and Sixth Form College

In Erasmus+ partnerships you learn so much, with people from different mindsets and different cultures.

Ruth Livesey, Regenerus

Taking part in an Erasmus+ activity has deepened our understanding of our own practice as well as giving us insights into the ways this is developing in a very different cultural, economic and social context. It has definitely helped our university in its internationalisation.
